Science Instructor – Laboratory Teaching Role

About the role

We are looking for qualified and passionate Science Instructors to join our training team at Godfrey Okoye University. The role involves delivering high‑quality laboratory instruction, mentoring learners and supporting the development of our science education programme.

Key responsibilities

• Explain scientific concepts and experimental procedures clearly to students.
• Conduct engaging laboratory and practical science sessions.
• Prepare, manage and maintain laboratory materials, equipment and reagents.
• Supervise students during experiments, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Monitor student performance, troubleshoot lab issues and assist with curriculum development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (B.Sc. required; M.Sc. or PhD advantageous).
• Prior experience in laboratory work or teaching.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
• Good communication and teaching abilities.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and basic computer proficiency.
