SAP IS-Oil Consultant (5+ years experience)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SAP IS-Oil Consultant to join our team and support downstream oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on SAP implementation experience, preferably with a full-cycle rollout in refining, petrochemical or downstream environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support all phases of SAP IS-Oil projects – blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live and hyper-care under senior guidance.
• Configure downstream modules such as inventory management, stock transfers and basic scheduling.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configuration.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.
• Configure oil accounting basics – inventory valuation, revenue recognition and settlement postings.
• Integrate SAP IS-Oil with core FI/CO, MM, SD modules and sub-modules (HPM, TSW).
• Assist with integration of external refinery systems (tank gauging, LIMS) and participate in MES interface testing.
• Provide day-to-day functional support, create documentation, conduct user training and support cut-over activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, IT or a related field.
• Minimum five years of SAP experience with a focus on IS-Oil downstream processes.
• At least one full-cycle SAP IS-Oil implementation in the oil & gas sector.
• Experience supporting live operations or hyper-care phases.
• SAP certification in IS-Oil or related modules is preferred.
