Salon Manager

About the role

The Salon Manager will lead daily operations of our salon in Port Harcourt, ensuring a welcoming environment, high service standards, and consistent revenue growth. You will be responsible for staff coordination, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the salon.
• Supervise barbers, receptionists, and other staff, creating rotas and managing attendance.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and handle recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost customer retention and salon revenue.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales, preparing operational and sales reports.
• Promote salon services and products, building strong customer relationships.
• Manage inventory levels, place orders, and control stock to prevent wastage.
• Handle cash, daily financial reporting, and ensure accurate financial records.

Required profile

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in salon, hospitality, retail or customer‑service management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong orientation towards sales, business development and customer service.
• Experience with inventory and financial management.
