Sales Specialist – Training & Consulting Services

About the role

Deslog Training & Consulting (DTC) is seeking a full‑time Sales Specialist to join its Port Harcourt office. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and promoting DTC’s ISO‑certified training programs and consultancy services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential clients across the HSE, Oil & Gas, Business, Marketing, Finance and Leadership sectors.
• Promote DTC’s training courses and consultancy solutions through presentations, demos and tailored proposals.
• Conduct market research, lead generation and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies.
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Collaborate with the training team to design solutions that meet client needs.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience with a track record of meeting or surpassing targets.
• Familiarity with training and consultancy offerings and the ability to explain them to diverse audiences.
• Strategic thinking for market research, lead generation and business development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in the training or consultancy industry is preferred.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and highly organized.
