Sales Representative – Life Insurance

About the role

Enterprise Life Nigeria is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to join its Port Harcourt team. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting life‑insurance solutions, and guiding them through the entire sales cycle from lead generation to policy activation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and explain product features and benefits to potential customers.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on inquiries to close sales.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing policyholders, providing ongoing support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and participate in marketing activities.
• Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to improve product offerings.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building long‑term client relationships.
• Customer‑service orientation, including active listening, problem‑solving and follow‑up.
• Basic financial literacy to explain life‑insurance concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and handle multiple client engagements.
• Familiarity with the insurance or financial services sector is an advantage.
• Minimum diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in field sales or retail financial products is beneficial.
