Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the growth of our publishing portfolio. Based in Owode, you will be responsible for expanding market reach, building relationships with schools, bookstores and institutional clients, and driving revenue across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new market opportunities for educational and professional publications.
• Maintain and grow relationships with schools, bookstores, distributors and institutional buyers.
• Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns, product promotions and book launch events.
• Prepare sales forecasts, track performance against targets and report to senior leadership.
• Supervise, motivate and organise field activities for the sales team.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate with editorial and production teams to align offerings with market needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in publishing, education or related sectors.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within Owode and surrounding regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
