Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive will work full‑time in a hybrid setting based in Lagos, identifying new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of clients across Leadway’s insurance, pension, health and asset‑management products.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads, conduct sales presentations and prepare proposals.
• Close deals and follow up to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing product support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to streamline onboarding and delivery processes.
• Monitor market trends, contribute to sales reports and support marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business development abilities, including lead generation and closing.
• Customer relationship management experience with a focus on account retention.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, plus confident public speaking.
• Basic knowledge of financial services products, preferably insurance, pensions, health or asset management.
• Relevant degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and meet targets.
• Prior experience in sales or financial services in Nigeria is an advantage.
