Sales Manager – Spare Parts (TVS 2W & 3W) – Kaduna & Yola

About the role

Our client, a global machinery distribution company, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead spare‑parts sales for TVS two‑ and three‑wheelers in the Kaduna and Yola territories. The role is field‑based, focusing on expanding the dealer and retailer network, driving secondary sales and ensuring genuine parts reach end‑customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual spare‑parts sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Develop and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, mechanics and sub‑stockists to increase parts off‑take.
• Identify untapped towns and villages, map the market and recruit new channel partners.
• Maintain optimal stock health by promoting the right product mix and supporting liquidation of slow‑moving items.
• Implement commercial policies, incentive schemes and promotional activities at field level.
• Organise mechanic meets, retailer meetings, van campaigns and road‑shows to raise genuine‑parts awareness.
• Manage credit and collections, ensuring compliance with credit norms.
• Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends and counterfeit parts.
• Record daily visit plans, orders and sales data in the DMS/CRM system.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of field sales experience in spare‑parts, auto components or lubricants distribution.
• Proven track record in secondary sales and distributor/retailer network development.
• Strong knowledge of the Kaduna and Yola territories and ability to build long‑term channel relationships.
• Hands‑on experience with credit management and market intelligence gathering.
