Sales Assistant – Retail (Abuja)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Abuja. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer product queries and provide tailored recommendations.
• Process cash, card and electronic transactions accurately, handle exchanges/returns and issue receipts.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, tagging and organizing incoming merchandise; conduct regular stock checks.
• Maintain neat, well‑stocked display shelves and sales floor areas according to store standards.
• Stay informed about promotions, discounts and special offers to maximise upselling and cross‑selling.
• Keep the checkout area and shop floor clean, safe and visually appealing throughout operating hours.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of HND.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar retail or sales role.
• Entry‑level candidate with a customer‑focused attitude.
