Rider Recruitment, Onboarding & Welfare Officer

About the role

Lenol is scaling its electric mobility operations in Lagos and seeks a Rider Recruitment, Onboarding & Welfare Officer to attract, onboard, support and retain high‑quality riders. This field‑heavy position involves direct interaction with riders, community building, and solving operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified riders through outreach, referrals, rider associations and community networks; conduct screening, interviews and documentation verification.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective riders and help achieve monthly fleet growth targets.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding, deliver orientation sessions and educate riders on company policies, asset usage, battery charging, safety standards and repayment obligations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for riders, conduct regular check‑ins and field visits, identify performance challenges and support engagement initiatives.
• Monitor rider activity, compliance and repayment performance; keep accurate records, support asset recovery and prepare regular recruitment, onboarding and retention reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, recruitment, customer success, logistics, field sales or community management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working extensively in the field and highly organized.
• Proven ability to build trust and manage relationships across diverse communities.
