About the role

Whitetree Bistro, an upscale café in the heart of Ikoyi, Lagos, is looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead its front‑of‑house operations. You will be the guardian of the brand, ensuring every guest enjoys a flawless experience from the first sip to the final bite.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an impeccable floor presence, building strong relationships with regular guests.
• Oversee daily aesthetic, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a world‑class front‑of‑house and barista team.
• Manage shift operations, stock levels, waste reduction, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor sales, control labor costs, and implement profitability strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant or café management experience in premium hospitality.
• Obsessive attention to detail and a passion for delivering perfect guest experiences.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
• Deep understanding of modern hospitality standards and effective complaint resolution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern café POS systems.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Comfort with digital shift scheduling tools.
