Remote Product Designer

About the role

Kuda Bank is looking for a Product Designer to shape engaging experiences across its suite of digital financial products. You will work remotely while collaborating with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver high‑quality designs that serve African users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create drafts, wireframes, and high‑fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Produce final visual design assets and ensure smooth hand‑off to developers.
• Iterate designs based on feedback from designers, product managers, engineers, and customers.
• Partner with product managers and engineers on retail, business, and internal product teams to launch features that meet KPI targets.
• Maintain and contribute to the company’s design system.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience designing and shipping web and mobile products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual and user‑experience design.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to think strategically about product direction and articulate design decisions.

Required skills

• Figma (primary design tool).
• Prototyping and wireframing techniques.
• Understanding of visual design fundamentals: layout, color, typography.
• Basic front‑end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with design systems and UX writing is a plus.
