Remote PhD Supervisor (Contract)

About the role

edXperts™ is seeking an experienced academic to provide remote, contract‑based supervision for PhD candidates. The role involves guiding scholars through all stages of their doctoral research, ensuring rigorous methodology and high‑quality outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist candidates in refining research questions and designing robust methodologies.
• Review and provide detailed feedback on proposals, chapter drafts, and publications.
• Support literature reviews, data analysis, thesis writing, and preparation of conference papers or journal submissions.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and ethical standards and align work with university policies.
• Collaborate with institutional stakeholders and contribute to strategic education initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience supervising PhD or postgraduate research students.
• Strong academic writing, editing, and mentoring abilities.
• Familiarity with research ethics, quality assurance, and higher‑education policies.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration across diverse disciplines.
