Registered Nurse – Surgical Theatre

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in Lagos. The role involves supporting surgeons in the operating theatre and delivering high‑quality post‑operative care. You will work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring patient safety and infection control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain theatre equipment and sterile environments.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative care and patient education.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in theatre nursing and post‑operative care.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
