Regional Mentor – Training & Coaching (Nigeria)

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Mentor to lead learning delivery, develop training content and coach sales staff and agents across the Savannah region of Nigeria. Reporting to the Zonal Training Manager, you will work onsite in Yola and travel frequently to remote locations to ensure consistent performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and field training sessions for sales teams.
• Maintain KPIs and achieve training targets as defined.
• Design training assessments in collaboration with the Training Manager.
• Ensure 100% adoption of technology‑based work tools by field staff.
• Drive accelerated learning performance using data tools.
• Communicate policy updates and training changes to relevant departments.
• Collect feedback on new tools, products and processes.
• Administer knowledge‑based platforms and manage the Litmos LMS.
• Induct and mentor field‑based staff.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials and concepts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in training and coaching, preferably in sales or marketing.
• A degree in education or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to create a conducive learning environment.
• Diligent, accurate and reliable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and visualization tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Territory knowledge is an added advantage.
