Regional Manager – South West

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Manager for the South‑West region of Nigeria to own end‑to‑end sales performance in one of our most critical markets. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will have P&L‑style accountability and direct oversight of Senior Field Sales Managers and their teams, working on‑site from our Nigeria office.

Key responsibilities

• Own weekly and monthly regional sales performance, set strategic priorities and review Field Sales Manager (FSM) scorecards.
• Identify systemic risks early and proactively escalate issues to the Head of Sales to avoid end‑of‑month surprises.
• Lead from the field by coaching FSMs, conducting execution audits and handling escalated people matters, including disciplinary and performance issues.
• Build and maintain the talent pipeline: recruit, promote, plan succession and manage under‑performance through PIPs or exits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑sales leadership, managing managers across large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Background in fintech, FMCG, telecoms or consumer finance is preferred.
• Track record of delivering results in high‑volume, high‑accountability environments.
• Strong analytical capability to drive performance decisions.
