Regional Finance Manager

About the role

The Regional Finance Manager will lead financial planning, control, reporting and risk management across Dangote Cement’s regional operations. This senior position ensures strong financial performance, compliance with IFRS and alignment with corporate strategy while partnering with plant and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts and financial models, tracking performance against targets.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, consolidating results from multiple plants.
• Monitor production and operating costs, driving cost‑optimization initiatives across energy, logistics and raw materials.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements and internal policies; manage internal and external audit relationships.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow and liquidity; support treasury activities and capital allocation.
• Partner with plant managers and commercial teams to provide financial insights for pricing, sales and investment decisions.
• Lead, develop and coach the regional finance team, setting performance targets and fostering a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) required.
• 10+ years of finance experience, preferably in cement or heavy‑industry manufacturing.
• Prior senior finance or managerial role overseeing multi‑plant or regional operations.

Required skills

• Financial modelling and analytical expertise.
• Deep knowledge of cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance.
