Regional Commercial Manager

About the role

The Regional Commercial Manager will lead the commercial agenda for PZ Cussons across the Middle Belt Region of Nigeria. This position translates strategic plans into actionable sales and channel initiatives, ensuring the field teams achieve targets for sales, distribution, profitability and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a high‑performing field sales team to meet regional sales, profitability and distribution goals.
• Convert commercial strategy into concrete actions, overseeing execution of sales and channel‑marketing programmes.
• Drive sustainable growth by managing sell‑in and sell‑out performance and supporting new product launches.
• Maximise trade investment returns through effective distributor and channel management.
• Provide market insights to shape route‑to‑market, channel and customer strategies.
• Coach Zonal Managers and broader field teams, building capability and a pipeline of future leaders.

Required profile

• A university degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Proven commercial experience with a track record of meeting sales or marketing targets.
• Experience leading teams in field sales, customer or channel management environments.
• Strong understanding of distributor management, route‑to‑market and channel development.
