Receptionist

About the role

Macsfix Ltd is hiring a full-time receptionist in Lagos (Marina). The receptionist welcomes visitors, answers calls, handles enquiries and provides administrative support so that the front desk and daily operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, clients and guests professionally
• Answer incoming calls, respond to enquiries and direct them to the right departments
• Schedule meetings, keep appointment calendars and notify staff of scheduled visits
• Receive, sort and distribute mail, documents and deliveries
• Provide accurate information about the organisation, its services and operations
• Keep visitor registers, appointment records and other documents up to date
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and presentable
• Assist with photocopying, printing, filing, data entry and other clerical work
• Handle complaints and enquiries politely, protecting confidential information
• Communicate messages promptly to staff and carry out other administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Minimum of an OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Friendly, welcoming, punctual and reliable; able to work under pressure and multitask
• Professional appearance and polite attitude

Required skills

• Good verbal and written communication and strong customer service skills
• Good organisational and time-management abilities
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good telephone etiquette and attention to detail
