Quantity Surveyor Manager

About the role

Alaro City Development FZC is looking for a Quantity Surveyor Manager to oversee cost planning, estimation and procurement for its fast‑growing urban development projects in Epe, Lagos. The role will support the Head of Construction and Delivery and ensure financial performance across a portfolio of mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction plans, prepare quantity take‑offs and develop detailed bills of quantities.
• Lead cost planning, budgeting, and variance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids and manage vendor selection and procurement processes.
• Monitor material orders, track changes to design and adjust cost forecasts accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessments, value engineering studies and provide advice on contractual claims.
• Supervise and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management or related discipline (Master’s degree a plus).
• 7‑10+ years of hands‑on quantity surveying or construction estimating experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven budgeting, reporting and financial management capabilities.
