Quality Control Officer

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Quality Control Officer to join Ojis Events and Rental Services in Abuja. The role involves ensuring that all rental and décor items are in optimal condition before they are dispatched to clients and after they are returned from events.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect rental and décor items prior to dispatch to confirm cleanliness, completeness, functionality and good condition.
• Examine returned items, identify any damage, missing pieces, stains or defects, and document findings.
• Verify quantities and conditions against job or order lists.
• Conduct quality checks during event setup to ensure compliance with approved specifications and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of damaged, missing, repaired and returned items.
• Collaborate with Operations, Styling, Store, Laundry and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Perform periodic warehouse inventory checks and follow up on repairs, cleaning and replacement of defective items.
• Prepare regular quality control reports and suggest improvements to reduce damage, losses and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar quality control role within events, rentals or related logistics.
