Quality & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Quality & Compliance Manager will lead the implementation and monitoring of regulatory and quality standards for the African Medical Centre of Excellence in Abuja. This role ensures that all products, services and clinical activities meet national and international compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory changes (FDA, ISO, NDPR) and keep the organization updated.
• Conduct internal audits of SOPs, policies and clinical trial approvals.
• Develop and maintain compliance programs, including anti‑bribery, data‑privacy and code of conduct.
• Oversee the regulatory approval process for new medical devices and clinical trials.
• Implement and sustain ISO 13485 quality management systems and manage supplier quality performance.
• Lead risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 6‑8 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance or regulatory affairs within medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance and proven ability to interact with regulatory agencies.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
