About the role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technology team in Lagos. In this role you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, performance, and user experience throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Test new features and product enhancements before release and maintain testing documentation.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Experience writing detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with bug‑tracking and project‑management tools.
Required skills
- API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Web and/or mobile application testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
