Quality and Compliance Lead

About the role

The Quality and Compliance Lead will ensure that healthcare services at the African Medical Centre of Excellence meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. Working closely with the Quality and Compliance Manager, the role supports the development, implementation and oversight of quality management systems and compliance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support quality and compliance programmes across the hospital, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety.
• Organise and lead quality committees, drive discussions on performance metrics, audit results and improvement plans.
• Conduct regular internal audits, identify non‑compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training on quality improvement, patient safety and regulatory compliance for all staff levels.
• Analyse quality and compliance data, identify trends and develop targeted improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or a related field; relevant certifications such as CPHQ are desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance or regulatory affairs within the healthcare sector.
• Experience with JCI or CQC accreditation processes and policy development.
• Proven ability to manage teams, budgets and drive quality improvement projects.
