QA Engineer II

About the role

Cavista Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its fintech products. You will work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver reliable, secure software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, cases, scenarios, and data based on business and technical requirements.
• Lead manual testing activities across fintech products, including functional, integration, regression, end‑to‑end, user acceptance, and exploratory testing.
• Validate payment workflows, transaction processing, settlements, reconciliation, and financial reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data‑protection requirements such as PCI‑DSS and NDPA.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect‑management tools.
• Conduct API testing and validate integrations with internal and third‑party financial systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide risk assessments and quality recommendations before releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of fintech experience with strong attention to detail and defect‑analysis skills.
• Understanding of Agile QA practices and a risk‑based testing mindset.
• Customer‑centric approach and excellent documentation abilities.
