About the role

The Purchaser will manage supplier relationships and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services needed for operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Source quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders following company procedures.
• Monitor orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Inspect delivered items to verify quality and quantity.
• Collaborate with inventory, finance, operations, and warehouse teams to determine purchasing needs.
• Research market prices, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and recommend suitable suppliers.
• Verify supplier invoices and delivery notes before payment processing.
• Resolve procurement‑related issues such as delayed deliveries or defective goods.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports and update management on purchasing activities.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing role.
