Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will design and execute PR campaigns, manage media relationships, and act as the company's spokesperson across Delta and Lagos states. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR campaigns and media‑relations strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and maintain open communication with senior management.
• Edit and update promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and social‑media posts.
• Organise PR events such as open days and press conferences.
• Identify partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities.
• Handle media inquiries, manage PR issues, and prepare regular PR reports.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Public Relations Officer or similar role.
• Proven experience managing online, broadcast and print media relations.
• Strong background in researching, writing and editing publications.
