Public Health Business Development Lead – Market Access Healthcare

About the role

DP World is expanding its healthcare and pharmaceutical capabilities across Africa. The Public Health Business Development Lead will drive regional growth by building relationships with Ministries of Health, donors, and other stakeholders to capture health‑related procurement and supply‑chain opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed revenue targets for public‑health products and services in the African region.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities across essential medicines, medical devices, equipment, and consumables.
• Negotiate commercial terms, tender agreements, and partnership frameworks with ministries, funders, and distributors.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard local distribution partners aligned with DP World’s supply‑chain strategy.
• Conduct due‑diligence and capability assessments of potential partners.
• Collaborate with DP World’s Humanitarian Aid and Market Access teams to align strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of senior‑level experience in public‑health business development, procurement, or supply‑chain management.
• Deep understanding of African Ministry of Health structures, public‑health supply chains, and donor ecosystems.
• Proven ability to engage senior government officials and multi‑level stakeholders.
• Strong track record of generating revenue in health‑related markets.
