Project Manager – Supply Chain Engineering

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Project Manager to lead supply‑chain engineering projects focused on the design, purchase and installation of assets across its Nigerian operations. You will ensure assets perform close to design parameters throughout their lifecycle while driving maintenance excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring lifecycle and total cost of ownership considerations.
• Monitor equipment performance, establish and track KPIs, and implement condition‑based monitoring to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Develop and adjust preventive and predictive maintenance plans in collaboration with planners and maintenance supervisors.
• Manage CMMS data integrity, spare‑part inventories and disposal of obsolete items.
• Coordinate with third‑party contractors and Category Technology to meet Unilever standards.
• Support finance with cost‑benefit analyses and apply ECRS principles to maintenance activities.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Mechanical, Industrial or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance engineering, project management and inventory management.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on scope, schedule, cost and safety.
