Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager supports the Plant Team by identifying improvement actions, developing long‑term studies, and leading new projects from concept to implementation. The role bridges plant operations, engineering, and external contractors to ensure efficient, competitive, and safe plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct studies on future plant development and propose long‑term efficiency actions.
• Assist plant personnel in creating and executing improvement ideas, small modifications, or major investments.
• Lead on‑site execution of major projects in collaboration with IPMEA and contractors.
• Analyse major operational problems and support short‑term troubleshooting.
• Promote and integrate new technologies, managerial concepts, and organizational structures.
• Ensure all required permits, insurance, and hold‑harmless agreements are secured on time.
• Provide training and information to plant staff on new installations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of plant operations, internal challenges and external constraints.
• Ability to work closely with plant teams and other departments, building credibility and relationships.
• Solid mechanical, electrical and civil engineering background.
• Experience in project and cost management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with plant personnel and contractors.
