Project Director – EPC Industrial & Food Processing Plants

About the role

The Project Director leads the full lifecycle of large‑scale industrial and food‑processing facilities, from initiation through design, construction, commissioning and handover. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate comprehensive project execution plans, defining scope, schedule and deliverables.
• Prepare, monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, providing regular updates.
• Supervise construction activities to guarantee compliance with designs, specifications and timelines.
• Oversee quality assurance and control processes, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Enforce HSE standards, promote safe work practices and investigate incidents.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, maintaining risk registers.
• Lead commissioning, testing and final hand‑over activities, ensuring systems meet design requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a senior project management role.
• Proven delivery of flour mills, grain handling/storage facilities, food‑processing plants or industrial manufacturing projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants.
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards and ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities with high integrity.
