Project Controls Manager – Power Project Portfolio

About the role

We are looking for a Project Controls Manager to support the Owner’s Engineering team on a major national power infrastructure project. This hybrid position will drive scheduling, cost tracking, and progress management while assisting with contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master project schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks.
• Audit weekly and monthly progress data, applying Earned Value Management (EVM) to compare actual versus planned performance.
• Monitor expenditures, track budget variances and produce cost‑to‑complete forecasts.
• Identify schedule risks early and work with technical teams to create recovery and mitigation plans.
• Prepare data‑driven progress reports, dashboards and performance metrics for senior leadership.
• Review and verify contractor invoices, milestone achievements and payment certificates.
• Administer variation orders, assess cost and schedule impacts, and support claims, EOT requests and dispute resolution.
• Conduct design and site reviews to ensure compliance with civil, electrical and mechanical milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project controls on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in scheduling, cost control and contract administration.
