Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect is a full-time, on‑site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, responsible for leading architectural design and coordination across all project phases. The position involves developing concept and detailed designs, preparing construction drawings and specifications, and reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed architectural designs.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications and review submittals for code compliance.
• Manage BIM workflows and coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants.
• Support sustainable design initiatives and oversee project schedules.
• Assist procurement, tender documentation and conduct site visits and inspections.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional architectural experience with strong design and technical skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
• Proven project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• In‑depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
