Project Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Project Analyst to join the Ibom Innovation Network Secretariat in Uyo on a five‑month contract. The role will support the planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects, including the flagship Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2024.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage several simultaneous projects, with a focus on Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2024.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, volunteers and the IIN board.
• Organise and lead meetings, ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Track progress and financials, providing regular updates and reports to the board.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Produce timely and accurate status reports and outcome documentation.
• Promote a culture of accountability among volunteers and project teams.
• Support continuous improvement of project‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in budgeting and financial tracking.

• Proficiency with project‑management tools and software.
