Program Manager – Future Farming Nigeria (FuFaN)

About the role
The Program Manager – Future Farming Nigeria (FuFaN) leads the implementation of a three‑year project that promotes regenerative agricultural practices to reduce greenhouse‑gas emissions and improve farmer livelihoods across Kaduna, Nasarawa, and Niger states.
Key responsibilities
- Provide overall project leadership and ownership of the FuFaN initiative.
- Upskill maize, sorghum, and soybean farmers in regenerative and climate‑adapted practices.
- Deliver technical support to facilitate farmer behavioral change from conventional to regenerative agriculture.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor performance indicators, and guide project adjustments.
- Manage relationships with donors, implementing partners, and sub‑awardees to ensure project objectives are met.
Required profile
- Proven experience in agricultural program management or similar development projects.
- Strong understanding of regenerative agriculture and climate‑smart farming practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and private sector partners.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of regenerative agricultural practices for maize, sorghum, and soybean.
