Professional Driver for Hotel Guests

About the role

Transcorp Hilton Abuja is looking for a reliable and professional driver to provide safe, timely, and high‑quality transportation for hotel guests, senior management, and staff. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, courteous service, and proper vehicle upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Transport guests, senior management and staff to designated locations safely and on schedule.
• Provide courteous, discreet, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any faults.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist guests with luggage and offer basic directions or information about Abuja.
• Keep accurate vehicle logs, fuel records and trip documentation.
• Support hotel operations with errands or deliveries as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate, hospitality or executive setting.
• Good knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations.
• Strong command of English and a professional, customer‑service orientation.
• High level of integrity, discretion and reliability.

Required skills

• Defensive driving certification (advantageous).
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to operate long buses such as Tata and Ashok models.
