Production Technician – Solvent Extraction

About the role

We are seeking a Production Technician to manage day‑to‑day operations of our solvent extraction line at a shea butter processing facility in Kudu, Niger State. The successful candidate will ensure that production runs smoothly, meets quality standards, and fulfills customer orders on time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the solvent extractor to achieve consistent, high‑quality output.
• Maintain quantitative and qualitative standards for all processed orders.
• Execute all operational tasks efficiently, including equipment set‑up, start‑up, shut‑down, and routine checks.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and optimise process parameters.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Industrial Production, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent intensive work experience).
• 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Proven supervisory experience in a plant or production setting.
