Production Centre Finance Controller

About the role

The Production Centre Finance Controller will oversee finance, commercial and tax activities for the Lagos production site, ensuring costs align with the annual budget and supporting the centre's profitability growth.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage spend to keep costs within the yearly budget.
• Implement and maintain internal controls for capital, revenue, assets and cash expenditures.
• Ensure accurate accounting of costs, fixed assets, capitalization and disposals.
• Prepare monthly close, financial statements and required reports for regional and corporate offices.
• Coordinate audits, follow up on recommendations and support annual business planning.
• Lead quarterly forecasting, cost‑variance analysis and cost‑saving projects on production lines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, cost accounting and inventory management.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (finance and materials management modules).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
