Product Manager – MVA Kits & Post‑Abortion Care

About the role

The Product Manager – MVA Kits & PAC will own the commercial and clinical‑adoption performance of the Manual Vacuum Aspiration kits product line in Nigeria. The role blends product management, provider capacity building, and institutional sales to grow demand and usage across NGOs, teaching hospitals, and public‑sector facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the MVA Kits product P&L, set volume, revenue and market‑share targets and execute an annual product plan covering positioning, pricing, packaging and distribution.
• Design and deliver standardized PAC/MVA training curricula for doctors, nurses, midwives and CHEWs, maintain a segmented provider database and track certification benchmarks.
• Identify, prospect and manage a pipeline of institutional sales leads, prepare proposals, negotiate supply agreements and represent DKT at conferences and stakeholder forums.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, regulatory and supply‑chain teams to align training, sales and compliance activities, and report monthly performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health, life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, public health, business or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in product management, medical/pharmaceutical sales or institutional/public‑health sales, preferably with NGOs, hospitals or government health institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to design or coordinate training/capacity‑building programmes and to manage long sales cycles.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen and lead‑generation pipeline management.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Excel for tracking KPIs and reporting.
• Ability to engage credibly with clinical audiences and institutional decision‑makers.
