Product Design Manager

About the role

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead the execution of its design vision across multiple product teams. You will balance hands‑on design work with leadership, ensuring business‑driven, user‑centred solutions that scale across the fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers, prioritising initiatives, aligning roadmaps and delivering high‑quality design output on schedule.
• Mentor designers through regular critiques, coaching sessions and skill‑development programmes.
• Maintain a hands‑on role on critical design projects while overseeing project timelines and workflows.
• Partner with product managers, engineers and executives to translate strategic goals into usable design solutions.
• Champion accessibility, inclusive design and design‑system consistency using atomic design principles.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing and behavioural insights to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to measure design impact and iterate based on data.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showing leadership of design teams and end‑to‑end product design across platforms.
• Proven experience mentoring designers and fostering a culture of feedback and innovation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate product goals into scalable, user‑centric designs.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining design excellence.
• Background in fintech or SaaS with understanding of financial products, compliance and security.
