Procurement Officer - Pharmaceuticals

About the role

Castville Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer in Ibadan to manage the sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies. The ideal candidate has experience in procurement within a pharmacy, healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure pharmaceutical products and medical supplies from approved vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient supply operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g. CIPS, CPSM, CIPSMN) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management in a healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement management systems.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
