Procurement Executive – Kano

About the role

The Procurement Executive will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for our operations in Kano. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures a reliable supply of goods and services while supporting cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify reliable suppliers.
• Request, evaluate, and compare quotations.
• Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Track deliveries, resolve supply issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procurement records and documentation.
• Analyze pricing, quality, and vendor performance; provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
• Support cost‑optimization projects without compromising standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchase order management.
• Practical experience preparing, reviewing, and managing purchase orders.
• Solid analytical ability to assess supplier performance and pricing.
• Clear, professional communication skills for internal and external interactions.
• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in procurement or supply chain, familiarity with ERP or procurement software, and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kano and uphold ethical procurement standards.
