Procurement Executive – Agricultural Commodities

About the role
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing Garri across assigned markets in Oyo State. This role combines field work, supplier relationship management, and data reporting to ensure a reliable supply chain for agricultural commodities.
Key responsibilities
- Source and procure Garri from designated markets and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing to achieve cost‑competitiveness.
- Meet assigned procurement volume targets.
- Coordinate quality inspections and ensure timely dispatches.
- Submit daily procurement and market reports.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and competitor activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 2–4 years of field procurement experience in agricultural commodities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in field locations.
- Self‑driven, result‑oriented, and capable of working independently under targets.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
