About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join our school in Abuja. The role involves delivering the national curriculum to young learners, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and contributing to the academic progress of each student.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate pupils through classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance.
- Prepare and submit termly reports and progress updates.
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Manage classroom discipline using positive behaviour strategies.
- Identify learners with academic challenges and provide appropriate support.
- Adhere to school policies, professional ethics, and code of conduct.
Required profile
- Minimum of a B.Ed (Education) degree.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school.
- TRCN certification.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
