Portfolio Manager Trainee Internship

About the role

The Portfolio Manager Trainee Internship offers hands‑on experience in credit analysis, client relationship management and portfolio monitoring within the National Electronic Labour Exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop unique selling propositions using market and competitor knowledge.
• Prospect for new clients to increase business.
• Communicate loan decisions promptly to ensure quality client service.
• Review credit applications to verify completeness of submitted documents.
• Assess clients' balance sheets, cash flow and income streams.
• Ensure punctual repayment of disbursed loans.
• Maintain high quality standards of the credit portfolio.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data of client businesses and households.
• Participate in market storms, community fairs and cluster marketing.
• Interview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and repayment feasibility.
• Conduct loan analysis by visiting clients' businesses and households.
• Visit guarantor businesses and prepare comprehensive loan assessments.
• Prepare loan documents for credit review.
• Create lead accounts for customers on the CRM.
• Maintain the portfolio to achieve the desired PAR level.
