Political Analyst

About the role

Capinta Consult Limited is seeking a Political Analyst to join its team in Port Harcourt. The role involves monitoring political developments across Nigeria and translating them into actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders. You will work on a full‑time basis, providing risk assessments and strategic advice.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse political events, policies, elections and related developments.
• Prepare concise reports, briefs and risk assessments for management and clients.
• Advise senior leadership on political risks and emerging opportunities.
• Conduct research using data sources, media outlets and stakeholder interviews.
• Present findings to internal teams and external clients.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in political analysis, policy research or governance.
• Strong research, writing and analytical abilities.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian politics and public policy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
