Plumber – Full‑time position in Abuja

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time plumber to join our facilities team in Abuja. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across our properties, ensuring reliable water supply and drainage.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and replace pipelines, fixtures, valves, pumps and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on water supply, drainage and sewage systems.
• Inspect systems for leaks, blockages, corrosion and other defects.
• Install sanitary fixtures such as toilets, urinals, sinks, showers and water heaters.
• Perform pipe fitting, threading, cutting, welding and testing activities.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain water storage tanks, booster pumps, pressure vessels and treatment systems.
• Coordinate with other maintenance trades and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE.
• Ability to keep accurate records of inspections, repairs and installations.

Required skills

• Pipe fitting and joining techniques.
• Pipe threading, cutting and welding.
• Water pump and pressure control system maintenance.
• Plumbing system diagnostics and fault identification.
• Installation of sanitary fixtures and water‑heating equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
