Physician – Clinical Care & Occupational Health

About the role

Chevron Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified Physician to deliver high‑quality clinical care to staff and eligible dependents, support occupational health services, and contribute to hospital operations. The role combines outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and preventive health responsibilities within a dynamic energy company environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and ambulatory care to staff and eligible dependents through regular consultations and reviews.
• Deliver inpatient, emergency, and on‑call medical services, including 24‑hour call duties as required.
• Promote preventive health initiatives, disease prevention, health promotion, and wellness activities.
• Coordinate and support training and continuing medical education programs.
• Offer specialized clinical services based on expertise (e.g., internal medicine, paediatrics, surgery, family medicine, occupational health).
• Collaborate with the Occupational Health Manager to plan and deliver occupational health services.
• Support daily hospital operations and perform additional duties assigned by medical leadership.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Fellowship in a clinical specialty recognized by the Nigerian or West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent.
• 5 to 15 years of post‑fellowship clinical experience.
• Knowledge or experience in Occupational Medicine.
