Physical and Health Education Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Physical and Health Education Teacher to join its boarding community. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that promote fitness, well‑being and personal development among students. The role requires a commitment to the Christian missionary ethos of the college.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver physical and health education lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Implement the school’s curriculum and assess student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and student performance.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold discipline standards.
• Mentor and support students, providing guidance on health and fitness matters.
• Utilise teaching aids and equipment to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school activities.
• Promote and embody the values of the college.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Education, Health Education or a related field.
• TRCN registration is an advantage.
• Relevant teaching or boarding‑school experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Good character and willingness to work in a Christian missionary boarding environment.
