Pharmacist – Oncology Pharmacy (Full-Time, Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join a leading oncology healthcare facility in Lekki, Lagos. The role focuses on safe procurement, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of oncology medications, including chemotherapy agents.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately, reviewing dosage, interactions and contraindications.
• Prepare and supervise the safe handling of chemotherapy drugs.
• Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and medication effectiveness.
• Maintain adequate stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate procurement of oncology medicines.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria regulations and hospital policies.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical rounds, case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) with a current PCN practicing license.
• 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferably in oncology.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and oncology medication management.
• Certification or training in Oncology Pharmacy is an advantage.
